For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them (Dt 4:31).
Then David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is great; but let me not fall into the hand of man” (2 Sa 24:14).
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! (Ps 51:1-2).
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You (Ps 86:5).
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children (Ps 103:17).
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy (Pr 28:13).
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not (Lam 3:22).
And rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster (Jl 2:13).
Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy (Mic 7:18).
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy (Mt 5:7).
Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners (Mt 9:13).
For he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation (Lk 1:49-50).
Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful (Lk 6:36).
So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy (Ro 9:16).
For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all (Ro 11:32).
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved (Eph 2:4-5).
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering (Col 3:12).
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit (Tit 3:5).
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb 4:16).
For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13).
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere (James 3:17).
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Pe 1:3).
Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy (1 Pe 2:10).
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind (1 Pe 3:8).
Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life (Jude 1:21).
