You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left (Dt 5:32).
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go (Jos 1:7).
Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil (Pr 4:27).
Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day (Pr 23:17).
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you (Is 26:3).
And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved (Mt 10:22).
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak (Mt 26:41).
As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience (Lk 8:15).
Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God” (Lk 9:62).
By your endurance you will gain your lives (Lk 21:19).
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love (Jn 15:9).
All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers (Acts 1:14).
He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life (Rom 2:6-7).
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up (Gal 6:9).
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints (Ep 6:18).
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving (Col 4:2).
Pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:17).
As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good (2 Thess 3:13).
If we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us (2 Tim 2:12).
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us (Heb 12:1).
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him (Jam 1:12).
Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son (2 Jn 1:9).
