And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness (Ge 15:6).
Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith (Hab 2:4).
And by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses (Acts 13:39).
And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Ro 3:24-26).
Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification (Ro 4:25).
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Ro 5:1).
Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God (Ro 5:9).
And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men (Ro 5:16-18).
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Co 1:30).
And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Co 6:11).
Just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”? (Ga 3:6).
And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed” (Ga 3:8).
So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith (Ga 3:24).
And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith (Phi 3:9).
By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks (Heb 11:4).
