It will be said on that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation (Is 25:9).
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord! (Ps Ps 31:24).

Having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust (Acts 24:15).
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Ro 5:2).
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope (Ro 5:3-4).
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him (Ps 62:5).
And again Isaiah says, The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope (Ro 15:12).
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Ro 15:13).
But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more (Ps 71:14).

If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied ( Co 15:19).
2 Corinthians 1:9-10
Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again (2 Co 1:9-10).
I hope for your salvation, O Lord, and I do your commandments (Ps 119:166).
For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness (Ga 5:5).

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (He 11:1).

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Pe 1:3).
