When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless (Ge 17:1).
For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground (Lev 11:44).
There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God (1 Sa 2:2).
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me (Ps 51:10).
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word (Ps 119:9).
Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil (Is 1:16).
And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray (Is 35:8).
For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite (Is 57:15).
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God (Mt 5:8).
You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect (Mt 5:48).
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth (Jn 17:17).
And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth (Jn 17:19).
I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification (Ro 6:19).
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life (Ro 6:22).
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship (Ro 12:1).
For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body (1 Co 6:20).
Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty (2 Co 6:17-18).
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God (2 Co 7:1).
But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints (Eph 5:3).
For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness (1 Thess 4:7).
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord (Heb 12:14).
But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy” (1 Pe 1:15-16).
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Pe 2:9).
And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure (1 Jn 3:3).
Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy (Rev 22:11).
