So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth (Ge 1:27-28).
So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation (Ge 2:3).
Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created (Ge5:2).
And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth (Ge 9:1).
Now the Lord said to Abram, Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed (Ge 12:1-3).
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.) And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything (Ge 14:18-20).
And in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice (Ge 22:18).
And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him (Ge 26:12).
You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you (Ex 23:25).
See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known (Dt 11:26-28).
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out (Dt 28:2-6).
The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you (Dt 28:8).
And the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household (2 Sa 6:11).
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked (1 Chr 4:10).
And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” (Job 1:21).
And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. And he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys (Job 42:12).
Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people! (Ps 3:8).
May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace! (Ps 29:11).
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth (Ps 34:1).
May the Lord give you increase, you and your children! (Ps 115:14).
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence (Pr 10:6).
The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it (Pr 10:22).
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor (Pr 22:9).
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit (Jr 17:7-8).
Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds (Mt 14:19).
But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you (Lk 6:27-28).
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them (Ro 12:14).
So that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith (Ga 3:14).
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Eph 1:3).
Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing (1 Pe 3:9).
